Revolutionize your workspace
I was staring at this unit for a while and while it caught my eye the regular price was just too high for me to justify but as soon as it went on sale I jumped into action and bought.
Let me tell you, I have not been disappointed, this thing kicks butt. As a dedicated amateur I work my tools pretty hard and I'm in the garage all weekend, every weekend throughout summer so this thing has rolled across the driveway a lot.
Normally it carries a pair of routers, my beloved bosch jigsaw and a cordless circular saw in the upper compartment, then in the bottom there are 2-3 cordless drills and a pile of clamps while the drawers hold all my boring old hand tools.
I wouldn't want to hazard a guess on the weight this cart hauls for me, but it's never flexed or wobbled.
A must-buy for my shop, and I've just purchased my second!

Better alternative than a chest
Got this so I could roll my tools to my bike or boat or car. The sliding top is the best feature for working on an auto. The drawers are quite deep and the centre bin is as well. Feels very sturdy and rolls very very easily. I was going to buy a mechanics tool chest, but this is a much better option for me for the amount of hand tools I have.

Will be a useful addition to my garage
I was weary about buying this because of the interlock issues the previous reviewers complained about. But at the sale price i couldn't resist. Put it all together and put some tools in it and its very solid. The interlock is easily defeated by bending the tabs flat on the left side of the drawers. This allows you to open the drawers without having to open the top, which was a bad design to begin with.

For the DIYer every other weekend
I bought 2 of these approxametly 4 months ago, one for myself and one for my student helper. I am the head of R&D so my work station is pretty full of tools, drill bits, sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers ect! My helper has just the tools needed to build what me manufacture. His is holding up fine, but mine is not. the bottom drawer slide has let go. The drawers are both almost full, but will not take the weight!!!
-Also, you can only open one drawer at a time! (unless up pull them quickly open at the same time evenly)
-Having to have top slide open to pull the drawers is a pain in the but,
-This unit is not made for every day use,
-It would be fine for the mild DIYer, with a small amout of tools!!!

Good product - instruction error
The product represents good value, when on sale, and appears to be solid and well designed, but....
1) The pillars (legs) are shipped inside the upper tray, and the wrapping on them must be removed to take the pillars out of the tray.
2) The sliding top is also an interlock for the drawers, so that the drawers apparently do not open unless the left part of the top is open. This little gem of wisdom is not included in the instructions, so a purchaser could damage the drawers in attempting to open them.
Too bad this little gem is not made in Canada.
