Decent headlights
Bought these to replace stock lights on my rav4. No complaints. Definitely brighter than regular lights but I am unsure if they are as bright as they claim. Regardless I would buy these again unless I was too upgrade to hid. I don't know how much brighter you could get with halogen. I tried piaa before and don't think they were vastly superior especially considering what you pay for those lights.

Awesome
I bought these bulbs 3 years ago, and they are still going strong. Really good, bright, white light. Just amazing.
FYI There are warnings ALL OVER The packaging and instructions that say DO NOT TOUCH the bulb. If you do, you'll be lucky if they last a month. I'm sure thats the reason for these bad reviews. These are great bulbs, you really do get what you pay for.

Bright headlights
I purchased these headlights a month ago and haven't been disappointed. They brighten up the night.

Don't waste your money
Given the price, I thought I was buying high quality headlights but they both blew within a few months. Not a happy camper...

poor quality
I purchaed these light to replace my OEM's. For the first couple months they were great but then one burnt out, than the other. I was outside my 90 day warranty period, so I purchased a second pack thinking it might have been a "dud". Second set doing the same...
I don't mind spending money on an item that is worth it but I didn't expect to be installing a second set within 6months. Moving on to something else!
I wouldn't recommed this brand....

Brighter BULB last shorter than normal
I bought the GE nighthawk bulbs and one of them burned in three days, I think , for my opinion, people can only get benefit from one sides------brighter or longer. with same structure in the bulb, the brighter bulb use less material to let more current go through. That means the bulb is more hot than other normal one. And this make the life of the bulb shorter, go to the store and compare the normal bulb you will see what I said here. For normal use, you just need normal bulbs and they last longer . Brighter but sorter life, or normal but longer life, it is a way like a people's life. isn't it?

worst purchase ever.
Not only are they barely, marginally brighter and certainly not "up to 90% brighter" but neither bulb lasted more than 7 months, And now the warranty is only 90 days whereas it used to be 1 year. Total waste of money. Find something else. I'm putting back in the original equipment bulbs which are 6 years old and still work. They are Sylvanias.

The brightness is a lie
I decided to do a test, comparing these to regular Sylvania's. The result: THey have the SAME brightness! WHy would you buy these for more than double the cost of anything else?
There is no difference in brightness. I have a feeling people are being fooled into good reviews because their headlights went out and now they have new ones. Leave an old working OEM in, even, and put one of these NightHawk whatevers in the other...you'll see to that there is absolutely no difference. It's a waste of money.

Dont touch the bulb with your hands
I cant help but wonder if people that are complaining about this product followed the warnings when installing the bulbs. Halogens are unique bulbs in the sense that they are the only type with a regenerative cycle. If you touch the bulb with your hands or get dirt on it, a hotspot is created that causes the bulb to expire prematurely.
