Excellent remote starter ... but ....
Starter works great until you damage the key fob and have to get it replaced out of warranty. I have this product working great for 5 years in my car. Key fob got damaged and replacement cost for the key fob alone is $179.99. They sell the entire unit for that price at times!! Ludicrous if you ask me. So much for enjoying the remote starter this winter!!

Works Great.
I bought and installed this remote starter kit in my 2009 Pontiac Vibe. I addition I also bought a bypass module on eBay (~$50). Be aware that you will need a bypass on most newer vehicles. I have basic automotive wiring skills and was able to install this starter with no issue. If you don't do this on a regular basis be prepared to spend a day on the install. I (and other people I have spoke with) suggest that all connections be soldered and not crimped using the cheap tap connectors. You are looking for problems down the road is you used tap connectors. ProStart provides a web log on for pictures detailing the installation for your specific vehicle (very helpful!). Always goes on sale so wait for the deal.

excellent remote starter
Bought these untis when they where on sale for $99.00. Installed one for a 2003 Mitsubishi Monetro Sports, and the other is 1998 Rav4. The Montero Sports requires a key bypass module and installed a Fortin PAT MITSUBISHI. Instructions manual is very good and has a lot of details. Website provides addtional infomation wire color/pictures by registering the serial number of the starter module. This is one time thing only so print or save it.
Performance wise it is very good, and can really reach quite far and also provides feedback on the remote. There a lots of other features that can be programmed.
The remote use a single AAA which is another benefit. The battery makes it thicker than other remotes, but surface area is also smaller.
This car starter is also being sold by Visions by Autostart for $199.00 so buy it only when it is on sale. Designed and assembled it Canada by Autostart.

Works Great!
Just bought this on sale for $110 but dont be fooled. Most newer vehicles require an additional bypass module and installation is usually $250-$400 (depending on where you go) so it adds up. I got my install for $300 with the module so its worth shopping around. The starter itself is great. Excellent range, the two way is awesome i always start my 03 silverado from my house and i get the start confirmed melody on the remote. I can also lock/unlock just as far (2200') which stock remotes dont do. Well worth the money.

works great
I purchased this over a year ago for my 2007 Honda. Had it installed. Works great. Lots of range. I love the feedback that tells you your car is started or that the desired button press has actually done something.

Worked great for me
I had two of these installed one on a 02 grand prix the other an 05 F150. I was very pleased with the range and the install. The two way feature lets you know if it started and counts down the minutes. I highly recommend this remote. The battery cover is easy to loose though.

Great product
You do need some knowledge to install this yourself. Most newer vehicles have some sort of factory immobilizer/anti theft system, & you will need extra bypass modules to make this work, as with any brand. Don't expect an easy install if you have never attempted this before. This does take some advanced electrical knowledge. Well worth the price to have it installed by the pro's. If you attempt it yourself, read the manual forwards & backwards. Alot of internet forums out there to ask questions as well. Good luck!!

Great for an old car/ not much good for new stuff
This item seems like a good deal/ good price, but almost impossible to hook up to a new Chrysler/ Jeep product. Needs extra parts starting at $99.99 u.s. and impossible to get tech support. Bought cheaper, same make starter in '95 and is still working great but new vehicals have sofistacated alams and 'mutiplex' ignitions. Poor warranty
