Good Battery Great Value I have used CT batteries for years. I currently own 6 vehicles, and 3 of them have CT batteries. ALL Lead–acid batteries lose the ability to accept a charge when discharged for too long due to sulfation. If your battery loses it's charge, it will freeze in temperatures below freezing, and destroy the battery. Modern vehicles continually draw power, even when not in use, so I use a small solar powered battery tender ( CT # #11-2007-8) on my vehicles if they are going to be sitting for a prolonged period of time. This has prevented my batteries from going dead and has extended the life of the battery. May 8, 2013

never again Just bought the battery last summer to replace the old one in my truck. I had the truck for three years before i had to replace the battery the previous owner had in it(also a motomaster). My truck has no heat right now, so I didn't drive it this winter. when i went to start it this spring, it was dead. When i opened the hood to put a charger on it, the side of the battery had been pushed off by crystalization inside the battery. the battery was installed correctly, has never been used to boost a vehicle, never been boosted, and never been charged other than by the alternator. 8 years Just bought a new Group 47 battery today. This battery replaced the Canadian Tire battery I installed in the summer of 2005. The car is a 1998 Volvo S70 which is driven about 20,000 km per year. No problems ever. The recent cold snap in Southern Ontario proved too much however. Great product and great value. mine only lasted 16 months. Can Tire did replace it under warranty, charged me $1.13 due to price difference and told me that my new battery is warranted for only 20 months. even though it says 3yrs (36months) on the label. the warrenty is still based on the org sale. not going to buy MotoMaster brand again, as my other vehicle's battery also just failed, and it was only 14months old, different type but same brand.
