"We've recently switched both of our daily drivers over to Amsoil as per our mechanic who recommends this on to all their customers. I believe it gives a small increase in HP as well."

The best oil ever made

"My friend who was 70 years old showed me this oil a couple years ago. He was a amsoil dealer and taken oil courses at amsoil head-corders. He showed me everything there was to car maintenance that I know today. amsoil is better then any other oil ever produced. I run ever engine I own with amsoil and I have never had any problems they start better, run better, and stay cooler under demanding conditions. I own ford trucks and cars, lawn mowers, weed-wackers, leaf blowers, tractors and heavy equipment I do very little work to them and they run perfect and start first crank no matter how cold it is. I recently bought a old tractor made in 1975 it ran very poor and very hot show-in in my youtube videos but after using amsoil products and cleaners it runs perfect. I will bet all of you out there that amsoil will be worth your money and save you even more money.

Best Motor Oil Available

"I use the 20W50 AMSoil motorcycle oil for my Harley and according to all lab tests, it is the best that there is.
Incidentally, on a Harley, it can be used in the engine, transmission and primary case, lessening the number of different fluids you have to keep on hand.
I also use the 0W40 in my snowblower.
The stuff just can't be beat."

Excellent Oil

"I have just changed my oil to Amsoil 0 20w, 100% synthetic motor oil with the extended drain and Ea Amsoil filter. You can't ask for better oil, fuel milage is better and starts easier. This is a must for any vehicle!"

Life Blood for my engines!!

"This is a must for any Canadian Winter. Vehicle starts so much easier in the winter and offers great performance in the summer time. I have used this oil in all my vehicles for the last few years and I would not change."

Outstanding product!

"I have been using Amsoil products for years and have always driven my cars for at least 400,000km without them burning oil and without having to replace any internal engine parts. This product is great for cold Canadian winters and is cheaper that conventional oil changes because you can go 1 year or 40,000km on a single oil change using an Amsoil filter. I will never use any other kind of oil in my car!"

Does this oil meet VW 502.00?

Question:

Looking for the right oil for my 2009 Audi.

Answer:

This grade of AMSOIL does not meet VW 502.00 but AMSOIL does market a "European Car Formula" that does meet this spec plus VW 505.00, VW 505.01, Porche A40,MB 229.51, MB 229.31, BMW LL-04, Saab & Volvo specs.

Answer:

Unfortunately this oil is not officially approved by Audi. We would recommend you use Castrol or Mobil1.

Question:

Do they sell this in a 4 or 5 liter jug?
How about an Amsoil filter too? I know Wix makes the filters for Amsoil

Answer:

First...Wix does NOT make Amsoil filters. They are made by Champion filters in the U.S. Champion makes filters for several different brands to that brands specs. Amsoil filters are made to a higher standard than almost all other filters, look on youtube and see some different brands cut open. Yes Amsoil comes in gallon jugs, you can get them from an Amsoil dealer or via the Amsoil website. I do not work for Amsoil, but I have and do use their products. I have spent a great deal of time researching motor oils.

Answer:

Last time I checked, Canadian Tire did not sell the larger sizes or filters. Some stores may be different, though.
However, the oil companies website does have an extensive dealer listing on it and you can also order online.
