Good for the price
I'm happy with this shoe rack for the price. I purchased 2 of these shoe racks, and have both of them filled (stacked on top of each other).
The good: Cheap (how else will you store 40 pairs of shoes for $40?); stacks; mine has held together fine so far
The bad: Not the prettiest; mine started having a serious lean after stacking the second rack, and now I prop it up for fear of it breaking/collapsing
Also, just a quick note - I use this for myself and am careful when removing and placing shoes. I could see it being an issue with families and kids. For me, it works.

Not worth the money
I purchased this rack a few years ago and only am I now writing a review. After putting light shoes, eg flip flops and kids shoes, the racks still fell apart. I then crazy glued them to the holes. Worked fine for about a year then it started to fall again. I finally threw it out and purchased the black resin rack that one puts tools and other knick knacks on it and it definitely holds what ever I put on it. So I am sorry I purchased this shoe rack and wasted my money. For some people it seemed to work but for me, not at all.

flimsy and falls apart
Great idea, but the rods will come out of the holes whenever it is inadvertantly bumped. It is very frustrating when you are trying to keep things neat and the rods fall out and shoes spill everywhere.

Not too stable
The advantage of this rack is that it saves space and hold a lot of shoes. The non-slip rods are excellent to hold any shoes. However, it is not very stable. Every time when we put shoes on or take shoes off the rack it would wobble. The plastic legs that are attached to the bottom of the rack (not shown in the pictures) kept falling off. They are useless so in the end we removed the legs from the rack. At one point the rack completedly fell apart and we have to assemble it again.
I would suggest this shoe rack for permanent storage since it save spaces but for everyday use a more sturdy rack should be sought.

Great product but Use Caution
great product. great price BUT don't stack more than 3 units high IF the unit is placed on carpet. The plastic sides will give way. Easy to assemble. Takes up very little room. I have 60 pairs of shoes stacked in a 40" x 9" floor space.

Didn't last long
From reading the other reviews, I think I may have gotten one from a bad batch. This shoe rack got tossed too soon after its purchase because the rods kept falling out of their sockets. It was wobbly and the plastic was weak and broke too easily.
It did hold a lot of shoes, however, and being able to set the rods for kids shoes was great.
Very disappointed.

great purchase
I just bought and assembled my new shoe rack. The number of shoes it holds is amazing for the cost of it. I love that it is stackable and you can add-on as another previous owner commented, and make a wall of shoes. It appears very sturdy and I even let my husband put 2 pair of shoes on it. He's happy!

BEST PURCHASE I HAVE EVER MADE!!!!!
This is the best shoe rack I have ever purchased! I have been through MANY shoe racks, & this is the BEST that I have ever had. It's VERY affordable compared to many other shoe racks & can fit up to 5 shoes per shelf for sandals or heels & 4 for boots, runners or sneakers. I literally have bought 8 of these. It comes with 4 levels & 2 levels are stuck to each other.
-Durable
-Easy to assemble & disassemble
-Easy to adjust
-The rack that the shoes sit on are nonslip
-Small & doesn't look bulky at all & just looks great
-You can stack them on top of each other

Great product.
I really like this rack. I went back and got 3 more. Now all our shoes are super well organized. It takes 5 minutes to put together and is nice and solid. I even put 2 one over the other. A wall of shoes!
