Great product.
I bought two of these hooks so I could get my bikes out of the way in my garage. I was impressed with the amount of weight that it could hold as my bike is pretty heavy. For my wifes bike it didn't sit very well on the hooks because of the sloped upper bar on her bike (typical of girls bikes). This is not hooks fault but would reccommend this very much for bikes with horizontal upper bars but not for sloped ones unless it is a childs bike which this can hold no matter what shape.

It does the job
This rack is fine as is if you are hanging a kid's bike. If you are hanging an adult or teen's bike, weight can be a problem. Also, the wider handle bars will always scrape the wall if you have drywall in your garage.
This hanger comes with two screw holes. Add a third hole, even if you have to drill it yourself and use lag screws. We used the supplied screws and noticed that the top screw was pulling out of the wood. Some quick work with a drill and some leftover lag screws, it's not coming off the wall.

So simple, yet so great!
I don't know why I didn't get this years ago! (Maybe it didn't exist years ago?) I was going to purchase the hydraulic dual bike lift but for my application, I didn't meet the height requirement. I ended up getting three of these. One for my daughter's bike, my wife's and myself. They are very easy to install, but you will need some serious muscle or a strong power drill to drill in the two self tapping wood screws. This is a very well made product and just works. With the bike mounted, the frame sits 9.75" away from the wall. Great for kids bikes, but if you're mounting on a finished wall, full size mountain bikes handlebars may hit the wall and til the wheel outwards. If you mount on an unfinished wall, then the handlebar will recess behind the studs and you won't have that problem. Just make sure to mount it on a supporting stud. Definitely recommended. My garage wall looks great with 3 bikes (so far) hanging there.
