not bad not great!
this cabinet is quite heavy and appears to be strong and sturdy. The top is as others have mentioned very plain and stands out a bit but personally i dont mind it. the back however is basic and just a few nails hold the back on. basicly the same backing that you would expect to fine on a cheap book shelf. I wish the back was a solid piece of wood but meh what can ya do. the lock is quite flimsy and should have been better. good to keep kids out but thats about all it will do. Over all the is a pretty good cabinet and i am happy i bought it. looks nice and i would buy it again but would wait for a sale.

Top looks cheap
Cabinet is fine but the top is plain particle board. Looks really cheap, the flyer and web pics disguise this issue as they make it look silver; even a thin coat of paint would have been better.

good for the money
This is great cabinate I have 2 I put a board across the top for a work surface but the factory top is still good. I agree toss the nils for the back and grab your stapler it was so much easier. Over all good cabinet I plan on getting more when they go on sale next.

Great look, good quality, pick up while on sale
Purchased 3 of these base cabinets along with 3 wall and 2 tall cabinets for a garage clean up/manshed. These look truly fantastic when assembled and put together. Fit and finish is not the greatest, but considering the price can be overlooked. Example: the feet on the bottom are fantastic to level out the cabinet, however they stick out slightly from the side and line up with the next cabinet's feet. This makes it almost impossible to line them up seamlessly. We took our time and made sure everything lined up as best as possible, and were pleased with the outcome. Overall I would recommend picking these up any time while on sale.

Good cabinets
Easy to assemble, decent hardware, and looks good when done.
Stapling the back on may be easier than using the provided nails.
The leveling feet are a huge bonus.
The locks are not very good, and wouldn't stop anyone from opening the cabinet. There should be 2 pins on the non locking door, one on the top and one on the bottom that lock that door first, then the little locking latch would work OK.
Also, the website dosen't say that the top is plain finish, although the box that the items came in does.
