Ok for sale price...
They are made in Canada - a nice surprise. Finding a Made In Canada item in Canadian Tire seems a rarity nowadays.
I bought two on sale - for the sale price they are a good deal in my view. Not spectacular, but they look ok and plenty of space inside.
The construction is as minimal as possible. 1/2" sides (MDF I think) with thin delicate veneer. 5/8" base, centre and top (again MDF or particle-board) again with a thin veneer (like what Ikea calls foil veneer). It's all stabilized with the thinnest back-board I have ever seen on this type of box construction - I mean thin like practically a few sheets of Bristol board compressed together.
The "4 shelves" bit is a matter of interpretation. To be clear, they count the base as a shelf. There are 2 movable shelves, 1 centre shelf (in a fixed location - you have two location choices approx. 6" apart in the central area for the centre shelf during assembly), and the base. This is the "4 shelves".
The locking mechanism is useless and while "locked" the doors could no doubt be pulled open by any determined person over the age of 5. The locks simply serve to keep the doors firmly shut and can not be considered "secured". I only put the lock assembly in to cover the hole in the door.
I used carpenter's wood-glue at all assembly contact locations to add some strength to the structure. Otherwise I find that with use over time this "Ikea-like" assembly and material tends to loosen up over time.
While it may seem like a lot, use *all* of the nails on the back-board - with glue if you have any. Having this well secured is important to the stability of the box. Ensure the box is square before gluing/nailing the backboard on - otherwise you'll have a tough time getting the doors looking aligned.
Adjustment capabilities of the doors and feet is nice. As mentioned by another reviewer, note that the round adjustable feet do protrude approx 1/4" beyond the sides of the base, so getting the base flush to any surface on the left or right is difficult.
If, when you put it in its intended location, you find the doors' plumb alignment to each other is off, an adjustment of one side of the front feet will twist the box front-to-back a little to plumb-align the doors better. I am not talking about various adjustments possible with the euro-hinges - you'll know what I mean if you experience placing the box on a slightly uneven surface.
Be VERY careful if you need to slide this unit laterally (left or right) after assembly. The feet inserts in the sides are very weak laterally because of the very thin sides. I broke one foot mount through the side panel by moving the unit into a corner after assembly (while still empty) and had to jury-rig a repair. Be sure you lift as much load off the feet as possible before any lateral movement.
Although it sounds like a lot of negative comments, I am still satisfied with the end result and the quality for the sale price. I would definitely not pay $170 for one of these, but at $100 it's a decent looking box for occasional non-rugged use.

Great look, good quality, pick up while on sale
Purchased 2 of these tall cabinets along with 3 base and 3 wall cabinets for a garage clean up/manshed. These look truly fantastic when assembled and put together. Fit and finish is not the greatest, but considering the price can be overlooked. Example: the feet on the bottom are fantastic to level out the cabinet, however they stick out slightly from the side and line up with the next cabinet's feet. This makes it almost impossible to line them up seamlessly. We took our time and made sure everything lined up as best as possible, and were pleased with the outcome. Overall I would recommend picking these up any time while on sale.

Great Cabinets
Very easy to assemble, they look great and really cleaned up my garage, lots of storage space, can't beat it for the price when on sale!

Very Happy
I purchased 2 tall, 2 lower and 2 upper cabinets. Very happy. Assembly was a breeze and probably the easiest I have done in a long time. Quality is good considering it's only laminated board.
Locks are not security locks but not cabinets not designed to thwart theives. Recommend buying laminated pine board and sealing it to us a counter top on lower cabinets.
Overall, they look very good, the shelves are multi adjustable and are fairly strong to store power tools, etc and I would recommend them as a decent alterative to expensive metal ones.

Looks nice - from a distance
Based on the “heavy duty” description, and the photos of the cabinets seemingly mounted to the wall much like kitchen cabinets, I was disappointed with the quality of the construction. The good - they look nice when assembled - from a distance. The bad - constructed of ½ chip board with easily damaged “laminate”. Cannot be wall mounted (except small upper cabinet) as the they have a flimsy cardboard back, which actually provide strength to the cabinent - the work surface of the base cabinet is made of an unfinished chipboard/MDF veneer - the locks are extremely flimsy and are really only there for appearances. - bad customer service from the manufacturer (one of my doors was damaged, and the customer service line is an answering machine where you leave your name and phone number along with the part you need. The message indicates that no one will call you back, you just wait a few weeks and hope that the replacement parts show up) Verdict - Looks tidy, but will only stand up to extremely light duty use.

Love them!
I've installed four of the tall, two base and two uppers in my Garage.
The assembly went like any flat pack furnature, note some peole mention the center bar this was on the old model not on the current one. The SKU did not change between the two, so doulbe check before taking it from the store. The key difference between the old and the new is the the bar above the door was silver on the old units and its the gray on the new ones.

Good looking, but things to know
Its a good looking solid cabinet, but the picture is decieving. Since only one door is open you cannot see that there is a divider up the center making using the full width of the cabinet impossible. If there isn't a display model at your local CT you get a big surprise when you go to start assembling it if you planned on using it for anything that required a whole shelf.

good quality
The quality and look of his cabinet is excellent. It takes some time to assemble but well worth it. Also its very easy to assemble and parts are very good there was no having to make any kind of adjustments, The foot adjustment feature is handy are good as most floors are not evenly balanced , this is good anti tipping measure. Believe or not I put this in my living room to match all my other black furniture , so hard to find a black pantry. Looks great even though meant for a garage. Lock is sturdy and nice. You can't go wrong with this thing. Worth to get on sale as I did. Don't pay full price for it.
