Really Good Paint!
My hubby and I are not an expert painter but we really enjoy using this to paint our whole basement. We bought this brand because it was on sale and got good reviews from posters on here. But we also asked the assistant and he even praised this brand as a "very good paint".
The paint glads onto the wall very easily, doesn't drip, AND the best part is we did not have to do a coat of primer because this brand already includes it in their paint. This was a huge time saver for us (and our back too!)
Highly recommend this for any non-pro painter.

The Worst Paint
I thought it was my painting, but, after reviewing the other reviews, I agree with many. This paint has the poorest coverage of any paint I have ever used. A deep yellow over a lighter yellow, 2 coats right? No way, I will put on coat 4 tomorrow and hope that does it. Never buy a CIL Paint again

Terrible paint
I have painted for years with high quality products, and since I have an 8 month old baby I thought I would save some time on not having to prime. I used a medium green to cover off white walls, and after 3 coats, I will hopefully be doing my final coat tomorrow. Four coats is absurb for a product that states only 2 is needed for some colours. Trust me, this paint is not worth the money or time.

Worst Paint Ever
This is the worst paint I have ever used. Even after 2 coats over primer the roller streaks were still present down the wall. I have painted all my life and never had this experience before. I had to purchase a different paint and recoat twice again living/dining room and hall.

Never buy again!!
We purchased this paint in a beautiful apple green for our kitchen reno. All the walls were cleaned with TSP, freshly primed and ready for a great paint. We figured we could not go wrong since this paint was also a primer, and offered one coat coverage, that it would be perfect! I believe it may have been on sale when we bought it.
Anyway, the first coat (over a latex primer) bubbled like soap on the wall. We ended up stopping that night to see what it looked like in the morning. The bubbles had disappeared, but it still left a bit of a pebbly texture. It was also very thin coverage... definitely not ONE COAT.
The next day, we figured we'd go ahead, since we had the paint and liked the colour, and put one full coat on all the walls. Again, we had the bubbles, but chose a different roller, and bubbling was definitely a bit less this time around. The coverage however, was terrible!!
We looked up CT's refund policy on paint, and it appeared that they would not exchange or refund this paint, so we decided to continue with the paint. We are on coat 5 currently, and it still looks like we will need at least one more coat. REALLY CIL?? I honestly don't know how they can claim one coat coverage, or we got a dud of a can.
So, we will finish the paint job, but I cannot recommend this paint. I hesitate to give it even a "one-star" rating... I wish we could go into negative stars.

CIL REAL LIFE PAINT
I am an artist and am used to using all types of paint. I have been painting some furniture and this paint has been fantastic no smell great coverage and dries quickly. I highly recommend it. It is also great that you do not need to prime before use

Wouldn't buy again
This paint goes on thin, has a strong odor, does drip, and has the worst finish I've ever seen in paint. I've had to do no less than 4 coats per room that I am painting. Also, when I roll this paint on all I get are bubbles on the surface. Worst purchase ever at CT.

worst paint ever
CIL should be ashamed to sell this as a premium paint. The one coat coverage referred to on the can must mean "one coat coverage after 4 previous coats". This paint is the most translucent I have ever used.
I bought some Behr premium paint and it took only 2 coats to get the same coverage as 5 coats of this stuff on the same surface and it was cheaper for the Behr!
Save yourself the pain and get something else.
