Never without a phone!
I purchased this unit as I have always been happy with Panasonic cordless phones, and I wasn't disappointed. I love these phones and would have given them a 5 star rating, except the sound quality isn't the greatest. The phones seem to pick up a lot of echos and if my husband is in the kitchen running water and I am in the living room, I will hear that sound resonating in the phone. Other than that they work great and have a decent range on them. I can be on the phone and walk to the back of our lot without interruption. Believe it or not, I still have trouble finding a phone!

Great phones
I've had these phones for a bit, and really enjoyed them. Always been lucky with panasonic phones.
I can get a clear signal anywhere in my house. Really enjoy the night mode feature where I can set a handset to not ring at certain hours (for the bedroom).
So far no complaints!

Best phones
Panasonic is great, have had cordelss phones by them for as long as i can remember, got these and there great! someone dropped one in the hot tub and it still works!

Impressive
Purchased these a few weeks ago, and they definitely are the best cordless phones we've ever owned.
We live in a dead zone for cell phones, and even cordless phones can't be used too far from the house, and even close to the house, they have lots of static, Not anymore, with these babies, I can be 200 + feet away from my house, in my garage, and they come in loud, clear, and with absolutely no static at all. Some real nice features about this phone, e.g. no matter how you set up one of the phones, the others will automatically personalize as well. For example, if you set the time on one phone, the others do it automatically. Also, if you add a phone number to one phone, it automatically goes into the phone book of the other phones too. One really amazing thing, is that the phone will verbally announce who is calling, as well as show on the screen. So if the phone happens to be out of reach at the time of receiving a call, you can still here through all the cordless phones, who is calling, which to us was very impressive. Phone feels solid, and has a nice rubber area on the top back, to prevent the phone from slipping from between your shoulder and ear, when you are required to multi-task while on the phone. I think the thing I love most about this phone (yup even better than the verbal callers) is the fact that these phones run on 2 ordinary AAA rechargeable batteries in each of them...a HUGE savings, when it comes to replacing batteries for all the phones.
I also like the back lit numbers for when dialing in the dark, and the screen display can easily be read, even with my bad eyes.All you need is one jack entrance for the main phone, for the others, all you need is an electrical wall outlet, no jacks, which means you can now keep a phone in any room that doesn't have a phone jack, just a wall receptacle.
Anyway, don't worry about the quality of these cordless phones with digital answering machine, if you can get these on sale, it is truly a bargain.....heck, even if they're not on sale, these are still worth every penny. Oh, and in case you're wondering, no I don't work for Panasonic, I'm just one very happy customer, who feels he got his money's worth.....which unfortunately I can't say I get very often anymore.
