Assembly too much effort
bought 2 of these 2 years ago on sale...every square inch required assembly...even each drawer...took a day to assemble with one person...tricky...even with an electric screwdriver arms and hands and wrists hurt...was prepared to suggest return of 2nd one...but was a favor for someone else...yes some pieces were flawed...but managed okay once considered exchange or return process hassle ...would never buy these again due to effort required...looks very nice though.

Not bad when on sale
This is my second purchase from this collection. It does require a lot of time and patience to assemble. As stated in many other reviews, the instructions are not well laid out. There are a great many screws for each drawer and while I agree with using a drill to speed things up, I recommend using a screwdriver for the last few turns for better control. The wood is soft.
As I completed the smaller, top drawers, I thought I had run into the issue that several other reviewers ran into where the top drawers are too large to fit the opening. I discovered much to my embarrassment that I was facing the back of the unit not the front! They slide in just fine from the other side. (As previously stated, the instructions are not laid out well so I can see how this has happened so many times)
Overall, I'm glad to have found this at 60% off. At full price, I'm not sure it is worth the assembly time.

Never again!
1 word GARBAGE! Should never have wasted the money. If anyone is thinking about purchasing this don't you will be disappointed. It is impossible to set up the drawers don't fit, the "wood" broke while putting the screws in, the instructions are awful and I could go on. Have no idea who in their right mind would pay full price for this! DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Patience and time
My wife and I took an afternoon to put this together. We were apprehensive after reading the nightmare reviews. There were lots of parts, and pieces and screws, but after unpacking, and organizing the pieces, counting the screws, bolts etc. we followed the instructions as best we could. Used the picture on the box as a guide and it went together, nearly by itself. Took a couple of hours.
The baskets were the most time consuming, but it wasn't like we had to weave the wicker. Get a low torque power drill to drive in the screws and you won't be sorry.
One of the drawer runners had come away from the bottom panel, but of all the things that could have been buggered up, this was the easiest to work around.
Nice unit. Perfect for the lake.

Don't bother buying this item.
Its a good thing this unit was only $99........if it had been the original $249, I would be back at the store screaming mad. This thing is nearly impossible to assemble, the directions are almost non-existent, the screws are the cheapest there are and the little wooden pegs either break or fall out every time you try to insert them in the holes. Nothing lines up properly and the drawers stick....................just a bad purchase all around.

Terrible Purchase
Assembly is very difficult, the instructions are sparse and unclear! None of the 3 top drawers fit properly, we can't pull them out or push them in without force! I regret this purchase, wasn't worth the $100!

Hard to put together
This piece is very difficult to put together, especially with only one set of hands. The instructions are very poor and I found myself puzzled and having to undo and redo many steps. It is also not as nice or as big as I had hoped, and the top of mine was scratched.

Love This!
I really adore this piece and am kicking myself for not getting two when I got this on sale a month ago for $99.00... Assembly was time consuming and the instructions weren't very user friendly but once it's all together, it really is cute. I use it as a bedside table and have quite a high bed so was worried it wouldn't be tall enough but it's just perfect. I'm waiting for them to go on sale again so I can get another!

Looks good but a lot of assembly required
I purchased this on sale this morning.
Pros:
It looks great once assembled.
The assembly instructions are reasonably clear and easy to follow.
All the pieces were included, even a few extra screws.
All the holes were in the right places.
Assembly of the frame was easy and quick.
Cons:
The drawers do not come pre-assembled. Assembly of the drawers is time-consuming, and I would not attempt it without an electric drill/screwdriver (there are 13 to 15 screws per drawer and 6 drawers, you do the math...)
Overall for the sale price it was a good purchase, however if I had paid full price for it I would have been disappointed at the amount of assembly required.
