Totally not worth it
I bought this fixture based on the positive comments in the reviews. Unfortunately one of the lights wasn't working properly so I had to take it back. This was a nuisance since after spending 30 minutes to unpack and install it, I had to pack up everything to take back. Then when I went to install the second one, I found that the arms that held the glass bowls would not stay in place. Even when I used a wrench to tighten the bolts, I found that they kept on slipping, so I ended up having to take the light fixture down 3 times. What was supposed to be an easy job taking only 30 to 45 minute job, wasted well over an hour because of the poor quality in the design. So while this looks good, the installation was disgusting. I have installed dozens of light fixtures and actually have an engineering degree in electrical. This was simply poorly designed and not made very well. I wish Canadian Tire and other stores would start buying products that are made in Canada....better design...better quality.

Beautiful and Elegant
I purchased this product to replace the bare bulb fixture that was originally in my bathroom. This fixture transformed the look of the bathroom instantly and added elegance to the decor. Installation was very easy and the fixture can be installed with the lights facing either up or down. A very nice addition to my bathroom.

Lovely Vanity Light
I bought this light for over the vanity in my new bathroom as the colours in the shades match the marble on the vanity top. The shades are glass and the rest is metal. I like the sophisticated look of this light, and it is not too modern and austere, but just the right soft look for a master bath. I installed mine the other way around (in the photo the shades point up, I installed mine with the shades pointing down) since it seemed to look better like that, will not collect insects and dust in the upright bowls of the shades, and gives much better light for the vanity mirror when brushing teeth or putting on makeup. Easy to put up and no quality problems. A great light.
