Really loud and gives off a bad smell
It might look like a good deal because the price is so low but this heater is almost unusable. It's really loud and gives off this strange plastic smell. Spend another $10 and get a better product.

Horrible
We had this fan for a month before it gave out. It constantly rattled and often smelled like it was burning.

Great little heater
I've been using this heater for about 9 months now and I've used it everyday this winter for up to 12 hours at a time. It works very well, I use it to warm up my bedroom which is downstairs. I don't use the "super hot" setting, but instead keep it on the "warm" setting. Works great! Doesn't smell or anything. The fan is not super quiet, but oh well, that's life!

Not a Good Product Anymore ?
Hi: I previously had written that these heaters were an excellent heaters for the $20. dollars spent.
Well they use to be, but unfortunately the several heaters I tried in the Fall of 2012 were manufactured with such a poor fan speed that I can no longer endorse this product.
Unfortunately ( because they use to be super great little space heaters ) the individuals that only gave this product a 1 star or less are the correct reviews for this product.
I had to take three back because they would not heat correctly or shut off, and in all cases, the fan speed was so low they were useless as a heater for any room larger than a very tiny washroom.
That is a shame Canadian Tire. This use to be a super great "LIKEWISE" product, and a BEST BUY. But it is now nothing more than a piece of junk.
DO NOT BUY THIS HEATER UNTIL THEY FIX ALL THE PROBLEMS WITH THIS PRODUCT !

Not worth it
Really noisy, overheat shuts it down often. My unit stopped working after a single winter.

Low quality
Bought this heater today. Big disappointment. It works well on the low setting. On the high setting, it works for a minute or so, then turns off by itself. I assume this is the "overheating" feature. I don't believe a normally functioning heater can overheat in one minute in a room with temperature of 16 degrees. Will have to return it.

Freeking noisy
It does heat, however, doesn't come with thermostat, even at low level it makes my room hot, so, I have to get up in the middle of the night and turn it off.
It's noisy enough for me to exchange it for an oil heater. suitable for any any room, but bedroom or study room. Level of noise is unbearable and dealbreaker for me.

worked for 2 minutes
I plugged it in and stared it up. It made a terrible smell, which is normal they say, but then just stopped working after barely 2 minutes.
Tried to reset or a different outlet, but it's completely dead. Will return for a better model. I guess I shouldn't be surprised - that's what you get for $20.

Perfect Little Heater For Small Spaces
I bought this heater for my office that gets very cold during the fall/winter season. This little heater is compact, easy to use, and relatively quiet. The low heat setting gives off just enough heat to keep me warm, but not enough that you get too hot if your sitting right next to it.
I think if you had a bigger room to heat this might be a little too small and not give off enough heat to warm a large room unless left on for a long time.
I run it for hours everyday and I haven't had any trouble with it yet, but it has only been a few weeks.

Fantastic heater for everybody to purchase
This heater is the best heater I have bought in years. They are alot better than these ceramic heaters. I have bought ceramic heaters in the past and all of them had broken down. But this heater I give it and excellent rating cause its very simple to use. If you want a good small portable heater please purchase this product its the best heater out there right now and I just bought it yesterday and I feel its going to last me a life time!!
