Good Price
This is an excellent purchase if you have ever had to buy one of these from the dealer. The cost I was told from my dealer we over $100. I only wish they listed the merv rating for this filter since the dealers will tell you that their rating is higher.

Just as good at 1/2 the price
I was buying furnance filters from my dealer as they were the only ones available. At Canadian Tire these filters are half the price and I think better quality. We are doing house renos and the filter catches lots of gyproc dust etc.. I highly recommend that you try these filters and don't get soaked from your dealer

Good Furnace Filter
I started using this type of filter after it was recommended by a furnace tech. This filter is thicker than the other filters therefore it has more surface area to trap air born particles. We keep the fan on our forced air system running constantly year round and we are very pleased with the air quality in our home which is important to us because of allergies. I think they help keep the house clean longer also, but I'm not sure my wife would agree. We use 3 filters a year. They are more expensive, but they do the job.
