If you're dithering -- buy this one

"I shopped around, considered spending quite a bit more on a wooden play structure, considered plastic, dithered, dithered, realized there were six small children on my block, and grabbed this "6-station" (actually 7 if you count the glider as 2) set. We are thrilled with it.

For the price and play value I would scarcely complain if it fell apart at the end of the summer -- but it's quite sturdy and I anticipate many years' use. We swapped out one swing with a "Step 2" baby swing for the neighbour's baby and this swingset's plastic swings are on par with the pricier plastic swing, and the plastic-coated chain is flexible. I had feared the slide might've been a total afterthought, but it's seeing plenty of use. The wood on a lot of the much pricier wooden play structures is very thin, and I'm much more confident in the ability of this to stand up to heavy use and Canadian winters.

We have two nearly-3 yr olds, a 4yo, and two 5 yr olds on this on a regular basis; all are enjoying it tremendously. With two 5yo kids going full tilt on the glider it will rock a bit; it does want anchoring, either with concrete or the sold-separately $15 anchor kit.

Assembly was fairly straightforward and Dad got it done with minimal help in under two hours. (Side note: the box did fit in a station wagon.)

I suspect this now differs slightly from previous years' models as no grounding kit was included with ours, and our swings are not slippery (even the two yr olds feel safe and are secure on them).

Overall: one of the standout best kid-stuff purchases I've ever made. My daughter is two, nearing three, and can't get enough of it, and neither can her friends. Stock up on Freezies as your yard will be hopping all summer..."

Excellent quality for the money

"This is a great product for the money. We bought it for the grandchildren, can't wait to see them enjoying this product.
The finish is thick, the hardware is top notch, and I'll rate the instructions 9/10. This product was designed in Canada, however it was made in China. It was designed with children's safety in mind. Took only 2 1/2 hours to assemble. Best swing deal, anywhere! Our set did not contain an anchor kit, however it is available seperately."

Great swingset!

"I am honestly impressed with this swingset. My 8, 6 and 2 year olds all love it! It wasn't difficult to put together either... it took about 3 hours for my husband and I to get it fully assembled. The directions are fairly straight forward, and it even comes with a grounding kit. All in all 5 stars for the value and the number of stations on it!! (I can't speak for durability tho, because we've only put it up today)"

"My kids love this swingset, even my 10 year old, and I thought she'd get bored of it quickly. Very easy to put together, everything matched up and made from quality material! I shopped around quite a bit before making this purchase, and this was by far the best deal!"

"Wow..i just picked up one of these and put it together in a few hrs..can't wait for the grandkids to see it..i'm sure they'll have great fun on it..lots of different things..wish i had one just like that when i was a kid!!Looking forward to lotsa hugs n kisses on their next visit!!"

Great purchase

"Hi,
I just purchased this swing set and it is really well made, solid parts, good quality and my kids just adore me for buying this for them...
Only negative would be that the instructions are a bit vague, and when I found the Allen key in the box, I suddenly thought I would have to speak Swedish again to build this thing, but, don't worry, you can get around that quite easily...
So yes good buy, and hopefully will last very long..

Excellent Buy

"I shopped around before purchasing this set, even "testing" some with our 6 year old, and this one has the best combination. Our daughter loves it -going from one station to the other, playing with the whole set. The unit fit easily together, the parts were all there, and most already preassembled. We are not "handy" and it still only took us a couple of non stressful hours to assemble."

Caution!

"We just purchased this set this past weekend. Brought it home and put it up. Took about an hour and a half to put together. Instructions fairly easy to understand. HOWEVER...the seats on the swings are so slippery that my 7 year old had a really hard time staying on. To solve this problem we simply put grit strips on the swings (the stuff that you would put on stairs to prevent slipping) and that has prevented any serious injuries so far. Other than that its great!"
