Works in Newfoundland...'nuf said.
Have had mine 3 winters now. Have cleaned powder snow, powder snow covered with ice pellets, slushy snow, about every kid of snow imaginable. It just works on anything separable in pieces of any size whatever. In the worst snow-rain freeze conditions that we often get here you might have to break up the plowed snow at the end of the driveway with a shovel first. That's it.
Won't do pure ice! If like the weather bomb this weekend it snows, then rains and then the backside-of-the-low norther comes, I might suggest shoveling before the temp plummets. But that advice is good for shovels, blowers and any other snow removal system.

The Big Easy
I call my shovel "The Big Easy" as it is fast and easy for moving snow and I find I do not breathe hard when I am using it. I've had it for two winters now and it is in excellent shape and I expect it will last for many years. The handle works better than I expected and it glides well on a paved driveway. The front edge does good job scooping packed snow but not ice.
It takes about the same length of time to clean a 100' driveway as my neighbours that have snow blowers. Of course I don't spend any time maintenance or fuel.

Best $40 I have EVER Spent
I have a normal sized garage pad and it honestly would normally take about an hour to do with a normal snow shovel. I was getting tired of being outside so long and decided to try something new.
My first attempt to ease my troubles was an electric snow shovel. Garbage. More work than a normal shovel.
Then I did a search on Amazon and this shovel came out on top so I purchased it at CT.
I was originally worried that this shovel would only prove useful in large snowfalls but after a sprinkling of about 3-5 cm, I was proven wrong.
This shovel makes super short work of the driveway ... literally about 7-10 minutes compared to the hour it would normally take. Best thing about it is that not only is it faster, it is SOOOO much easier on the back. No pain at all.
The only complaint ... and it's minor, is that the bucket is so large, it is sometimes hard to maneuver in tight areas ... very small trade off for the extreme ease of the shovel.
5 stars all around!!!

great shovel
This shovel is great! I was skeptical, at first, not belieiving this type of shovel would be that much better than the normal, standard shovel I was used to using -- then, I bought one and tried it. HUGE DIFFERENCE! My driveway parks 8 cars, and this thing clears the snow without me breaking my back! So much easier to "glide" the snow with this shovel, rather than just "push"...saves a lot of time, and effort. Highly recommend this for anyone with a large driveway!

Great back saving product
Found that at the top of the scoop I drilled and installed a 3/16" pop rivet and washer, by doing this, it reinforced the weak area on the scoop. Now after loading the scoop I can lift back on the handle it is much stronger. The manufacturer should have done this and there would be a lot less broken handles. Also did the same to my three neighbours scoops. Great for shoveling my roofs, so much easier on the back.

Time Saver
I love the handles, its not just straight but allows to push using the sides! It holds quite the load, but can get quite heavy, great for pushing up a moutain of snow, or just to the end of the driveway! I had an old one, but the blade at the end broke, therefore not doing a great job of shoveling, but since replaced it, and used it through last winter.. worked like a charm! I also like it has an adjustable lenght for the handle!
I would recomend this item!

Snow scoop
Worked Great this year for all the snowfall in Manitoba. Wished it was a little stiffer because at times I worried it may break. (but it didnt) Was able to push on the back of the scoop with my foot to dig into ice. Slides with ease when carrying a big load. With the shape of the handle you are able to balance lots piled high in the scoop. Very good scoop.

Great Work Horse
Adjustable handle, great for me 6’2” and great for the wife 5’2”
Handle design allows for better pushing than other models
Steel cutting edge
Slides effortlessly
I use this around my camp. It’s fantastic. It replaced an old steel sleigh shovel. I have a bad back, and find the handle configuration on this AWESOME! It makes for a pain free shovelling experience.
You will be surprised the large amount of snow you can move in such a short time.
Bottom line... LOVE IT

Better than shown
Tried a friends last winter and was impressed. Waited for it go on sale (Oct 29 2010 - $32) then bought 2. The handles are now adjustable and the width is 24" and not 22". I have not used this yet, but the quality looks great. I'm Ready!

Great scoop!
The joy of this scoop is that you can move tons of snow without lifting any. Just stick it under a load of snow, push down a couple of inches to break it free, then drag the load to wherever you want to dump it. I had a triple bypass and this is EASY!
