Powerful Mower
I have a big and bumpy yard so I needed something that was durable. This lawn mower did a great job last year and is holding quite well this spring. The self propulsion is a life saver, takes me less time and I exert less energy.

Great Buy!
My husband and I bought this lawn mower when it was on sale, very well built and easy to operate.

Works better than my $900 Ariens Pro
My mower is from 2009 (doesn't have the wash out port)
As a mulching mower this thing is great, absolutely no clippings left in clumps. None
Cuts long grass with ease, shreds it fine. (Wet grass is a problem, it will clog the mower)
Super quiet, amazingly so.
Super light, easy to maneuver, I love it (and so does my bad back). A bit quick if you are a super slow walker, but you don't have to pull the engage lever fully and go any speed you want. Deck can get close to objects. One lever wheel adjustment for all for wheels is amazing. Climbs my little hill with ease.
Honda engine is the best. Purs like a kitten. idles smooth, easy start (keep that air filter clean!)
Not a spec of rust on the chassis, not sure if it's aluminum but it still looks brand new after four years. (some of the cables have minor oxidation)
For long grass the bag is useless, too small, I prefer to mulch anyways, a bag is nice to get rid of dandelion seeds though)
I bought mine on sale, don't think I would be as happy as if I had paid full price. But going on year five and it's been a cake walk, I've got my moneys worth. (Four year warranty!) I have changed the oil when needed and it runs better with a clean air filter (won't start if air filter is clogged)
A tank of gas goes a long way.
Highly recommended.
I also have a Pro model Ariens at my Dad's place and I find it heavy, clumps on long grass, clogs constantly, and is really noisy. (It's basically a tank of a lawn mower though)

Not That Great!
I just went through the second summer and the starter gave out. The starter won't engage, but just spins.
If your grass is even slightly damp, it clogs up.
Bag only fills half way before it has to be dumped, unless your grass is really dry then you will get a full bag. It starts good with the cord, it's pretty quite but I wish I bought a Lawn-boy instead.
