Worth the time it takes to set-up
We purchased this pool just over a week ago. I had read the two prior reviews so knew ahead of time that the sides would buckle before readjusting. It also states in the instructions that this will happen as well and is completely NORMAL. I would recommend this pool to anyone. Be sure you have at least three people to help set it up and also be sure to level the ground a good foot to two feet greater than the 9 x 18. The picture on the box is a bit deceiving in that it doesn't appear as high as it actually is.

bowing pool
We are in the process of setting up and filling this pool up. The longer sides are bowing in to the point of near colapse. I too am attempting to contact the manufacturer, and as I am typing away, 47 minutes have elapsted on hold, very poor customer service. Hopefully before my children are in college.

This is not an Intex pool
Let me preface this by saying that this pool is made by Polygroups not Intex, but since they look so similar I was fooled into believing that they were the same, and as such none of the Intex parts or accessories are compatible with this pool which became a problem for me as I intended to hook up a Krystal salt water filter to this pool. As far as I can see unless I buy another salt filter that is specifically made for this pool, which may or may not work with this pool because of the skimmer feature which is better in theory than practice, I'm out of luck. I have been purchasing intex pools for years and though there have been a few glitches, none near as painful as the ones I've experienced with this pool. Also our backyard is level so none of the problems can be blamed on an unlevel lot.
Another issue that has already occurred is that on filling the pool to the level required to use the skimmer/filter the side poles bowed out so much that the corner metal elbow joints, which are not secured or clipped into place and rely on the force of the water to keep them together, have detached and thus reduced the stability of the pool.
On calling the customer service department for the issue with the elbow, I was placed on hold for the good part of an hour, though the representative I spoke with was friendly and relatively helpful, when I asked to order an extra part I needed I was told that it would take 2 weeks to arrive and that she could not take my payment info as I was in Canada and that another representative would call for my details. To date I have not been contacted again and am not even sure if the part is on its way. To compare the intex and polygroup customer service, one year I had a problem with an Intex/Krystal salt water pump and had a replacement in two days.
In regards to the detached elbow, the representative asked me to remove the elbow joint to exam if it was defective which is impossible and as far as I can see not the most prudent thing to do, instead I decided to drain some water from the pool in the hopes that the bowing problem will be resolved and the joint can be reattached. That's when the next issue arose as there is no adapter that attaches to a garden hose to drain the pool, in fact there is no mention at all about even draining the pool in the manual so I was forced to use the garden hose to siphon the water out which in reality isn't that bad but since I was accustomed to the adapter Intex supplied with the other pools we've had, it was feature that I expected with this pool.
The pump that comes with this pool is too small with very little power and the filter is also too small and is the same size as the filters used on a 10 foot blow up pool from Intex. Lastly, I was accustomed to the plunger valves that the Intex pools have for the intake and outtake ports that effectively stop water flow, this pool has plugs that don't fit the ports properly and are extremely ineffective and messy in stemming the water flow if you need to detach the hose from the pump for any reason.
Overall I'm not impressed with this company or pool and will never purchase another thing from their company.
