Fantastic
I couldn't be happier. Starts on the first pull each and every time. Cuts long grass with ease, light and each to use. If you are looking for down to business, no frills lawn mower, look no further!

power to do the job
looking for a mower to do the average lawn, this one should work. The only drawback is that it is a little louder than the higher pirced mowers.

Great Machine, Long Use
As the owner of a lawn service company, mine had lasted 2 years of consistent use before it started requiring repairs and cleaning. Surely worth investing in for both home or business use and wasn't that hard to assemble.

Excellent lawnmowe I ever owned
this is an Excellent machine. all it takes is one pull of the cord or two and it starts. I have left in in my shed all winter locked up. now 2013 comes along I had to do is pull cord once and put gas into it and away it goes

Worked fine when it worked. Now fails to start
Bought this at the end of 2010 season for $140. Worked fine for the first while but over time has become more and more difficult to start/stay running.
After 10-15 attempts it will stay running, and work fine for the rest of the day.
I called the manufacturer regarding warranty service and he informed me that it was a carburetor problem and would not be covered if gas was left in the machine for more than two weeks.

Not bad for a cheap lawnmower
This lawnmower is not bad for a cheaper lawnmower, it gets the job done and is light so it allows you to move quickly with it.

Starts and runs well
For the price this is a good purchase. Quality control could be a bit better, I had one of the bolts that holds the wheel on cross threaded and could not get the threads to accept the nut, will replace it with just a nut and bolt. Other than that it went together well and all the hardware was complete. Instructions were well written, easy to follow, total time to put it together, about an hour. Came with a container of engine oil, enough to last a while. This mower uses straight gas, no mixing with oil which was a bonus. There is also no choke, just prime the carb, hold down the lever on the handle and pull the starter rope. Mine started in the 2nd pull. Runs a bit noisier than my Lawnboy, but cuts just as well. This is a basic gas lawnmower, no fancy cowling, no bagger, no plastic, it's made of metal and has a decent black paint job. If I didn't have that problem with the wheel it would rate 5 stars. Very satisfied with it so far.

Great Value
Just wanted a inexensive mower, and this one is great and does the job. It says it starts with a couple primes but I have to prime it atleast 6 times when i go to start it, and it fires right up.

frustrating to start
Bought the machine and it sometimes starts and most times doesn't. Followed the directions to a t. I prime the engine, doesn't start. Come back one or two hours and it may start. Completely unpredictable. Had to use my 30 year old mower to mow the lawn. Brand new mower was used just once in one month. Will try to return it.

Simple and good.
I purchased this mower a month ago and so far I'm very happy with it. I wanted a simple, inexpensive mower, without a bag, and an open engine, and this is it.
The engine runs beautifully on the first pull. The mower itself is very light weight and easy to use. The cutting height can't be adjusted without removing the wheels but that doesn't bother me since I have no need to change it.
The wheels do not have bearings so they might not last that long. I would recommend using a silicone lubricant or something like that. When they wear out I will replace them with upgraded wheels, which are not expensive so no big deal.
If you want a simple, inexpensive mower that delivers, look no further.
