Are you sure this thing isn't gas?
This thng has power....and then some. It has a bit of wieght to it but it is balanced. I used it for an hour and did not feel any fatigue in my hands. I guess maybe i could see how others may complain but if you really can't handle the power of this one....buy a more timid trimmer. I did not have any great expections when i bought this but i am thouroughly impresseed and not dissappointed. You gotta love the 4 year warrant on this thing too.

Not for the weak!
I purchased this unit for trimming between my gardens. After using it for 15 minutes, my hand was hurting and the vibration was making my elbow ache. I returned the unit for a refund.

Doesn't Cut Grass Very Well
This grass trimmer needs more power. I don't think it did a good job with cutting my extra grass. It was not strong enough to cut thick grass.

Not for tall grass
I only got one use out of this thing, it has the power to handle really tall grass but unfortunately it can not be used for that because the grass wraps around the shaft, heats it up and the plastic retaining nut for the spool melts. This makes it impossible to remove the empty spool. I'll have to take mine back, I haven't decided if I'll try another one or try something else yet, the power was better than the 25cc weed eater even with 100ft of extension cord and the length and balance and perfect for someone 6 ft. tall, much easier on the back than any 2-cycle I have used.

Had High Hopes
Bought this product because of its power rating and it would be a little easier to use than my gas Honda unit for small jobs. It is quite powerful, but I found three flaws with it.
The first was the wing nut on the handle stripped. Not a big deal, I could have gotten a metal wing nut and a lock washer (It should have come with one).
The second was I had to death grip the trigger mechanism or it would cut in and out on me.
The third and worst was the vibration. After half an hour my hands were slightly numb and tingling. I can use my Honda gas all day and not have that problem.
Returned it for a refund.

Powerful Electric Trimmer
Was fed up with my three Weed Eater gas trimmers and my Homelite (and read that unlike my Husqvarna chainsaw, many of their trimmers are not Sweden made and hard to start) I decide to purchase an electric trimmer.
I have a large property and wanted something strong since my needs tend to be on the medium duty (tough weeds, small brush) and would run for at least a couple of hours straight. I already have a small Toro electric (4A) and it is only good for grass trimming. It bogs down on anything more.
I saw this model in this weekend’s flyers for the first time. With $20 off, decided to give it a go. Well, I was IMPRESSED! You definitely feel this is a 10 amp motor. And unlike 99% of other electric trimmers, the motor is at the top so the balance is just great (and lighter than a gas trimmer).
I started slowly with just grass and it wasn't long before I decided to go on the thicker stuff. The result; it easily compares to my 32cc Weed Eater, it is that powerful. It runs very smoothly (as you would expect from electric). The string comes out very easily with a gentle tap. No idea on string consumption yet but assume it is no different from similar models. I don't really care...because it WORKS - the first time.
I also bought a 12G 100feet extension cord and saw NO loss in power. None. I then tested with an additional 50feet extension on the 100feet cord and it still ran perfectly. I couldn't believe it.
Like many "no name" brands from China, we'll have to see if it will last as the build quality is only average (my large Weed Eater is built like a bulldozer). The plastic casing for the motor again is average.
You can get all sorts of attachments (I will try the roto-tiller) but wonder how well they will do since this motor is an "ON-OFF". No soft starts or speed control. I'm sure putting large moving parts will be tough on the motor.
So far (3 hours of use in first weekend), it is a great buy - very impressed and happy.

Worth the money!
This trimmer is a beast! Just bought it and tried it out today.
It has enough power to go through anything and is very efficient. It cut through tall grass(12-18") with ease. Does not allow for blade attachments for really heavey jobs but can swap other attachments such as a rotor or edger. It doesn't limit the possibilities to just Greenworks attachments either. It is interchangeable with Ryobi and a couple other manufacturers.
Autofeed system worked well. Just a quick tap or two and you're good to go.
On sale at the moment for only $99. Can't go wrong with it!
NOTE: You're best to wear your protective gear with this one since it does throw the discharge around quite a bit.

WOW Best Ever " So Far So Good"
WOW Best Ever trimmer I have purchased ( and I have had a few to many ) " So Far So Good" if this keep up the performance and durability they have a customer for life! really really good "so far" . I have not needed to change the line yet , so not sure how that will go .. its usually the weak point for all trimmers.
This is powerful and very precise! really enjoy using it so far....

Excellent trimmer for price
Bought this trimmer, didn't want to fuss with the gas. Brought it home and used it right away. Wow, this thing has a lot of power, motor is very strong. Relatively study construction. The line feed works well, one tap is all you need.
Read the box at home and realized there are other attachments, ex. hedge trimmer, what a bonus!
Definitely pick this one up on sale if you want an electric trimmer. No way a cordless would ever have this power.
