These lights didn't work
We bought these lights to put on our deck. After my hubby had them all in place and secured, when we plugged them in, one section didn't work. A word of advice, plug them in to try them before you secure them to your deck :-(

Great product
I have a total of 50 ft and it works great. I use it for my gazeebo and never has issues

great product for a pergola.
the rope lights have been great lighting for our fine dining under our pergola. we have had many compliments on how romantic it is. just the right amount of lighting to set the scene. we know of others who have used them for lighting in their spas. we like them so much that we have put them on our other pergola which lights up our lounging area. the only negative thing is they don't come in 40 feet lengths. had to use a 30 foot and a 12 foot length together. Still looks great though. most important thing is they stay up year round,

Looks good, Durability questionable
I hate being negative, as it is out of character for me.
The appearance is great, but if you are using them for camping or any situation where they need to be put up and taken down repeatedly, they are simply not durable. Within the first 30 days, portions were not lighting up. By the end of the season, one was out completely. If using in a permanent location, they will perform and look great. This year we will be trying the "Bamboo Lights".
