Not suitable for Cuisinart C782IR-R
This rotisserie is recommended by CTC as suitable for the Cuisinart Infrared Gourmet C782IRS-R Propane BBQ.
I bought it for this BBQ but it doesn't really fit all that well.
The problem with it is that the spit rod can not be mounted low enough so that the meat forks clear the hood when the hood is lowered. They hit the hood during rotation.
Some work with a hacksaw and a round file would let you alter the support brackets so that the spit runs 7/8" lower. I haven't tried this yet, as I am thinking about returning it for a refund.
Still not very much clearance between the meat and the hood.
Also a balance weight would be nice.

Not very good
I bought this thinking it would be perfect for my Centro BBQ. The first problem is the rod comes in 2 parts that screw together. The rod unscrews it self. So I thought I would put the forks on each side of the rod to stop it from unscrewing. Now the meat is to the far right on the rod. It did stop it from unscrewing but the motor stops halfway then turns the other way then stops. After 3 hours of cooking a 15lbs roast the rod snaped at the connection and the roast fell on the burner. If the rod was one piece it would work well. There too much sag when you have meat on the rod and it will snap. There is no way this can handle 17 lbs like the box says and the manuel say it will hold 26 lbs. Don't waste your money.....

not so good
Not a good match for the 5800 series Centro BBQ. Limited mounting options means it doesn't fit well to the BBQ. The motor bracket is about 10 to 15 degrees tilted away from the BBQ which puts strain on the motor during the turning. The supplied bracket is not bent or otherwise defective, there is just no way to adjust it with the two horizontal screws to straighten out and the contruction of the motor bracket does not allow for it to be bent to make the correction.
The other problem relates to the rod extension. It unscrews itself over a period of time. Not a very good system compared to a properly sized rod with no joint and a counter-weight.
For the price I do not think I will get the full life from it before the motor strain ruins the motor.

Awesome Results
I found the spit to not be as tough as I would've liked and find it bends a little too much depending on the weight of the meat. A nice option would be a counter weight in those instances when your meat is off by a bit otherwise you can hear the motor forcing. Other than that, this rotisserie produces one heck of a result when your done. I just hope it lasts a while. I got lucky... it came on sale for $59 bucks and I had a $20 Centro coupon for it... So well worth the $35 i paid for it...

Perfect Fit for Centro BBQ's
I got this because some of the generic rotisseries do not fit the Centro BBQ's well. This was made for the Centro, and I'm very happy with it.
Get this while it's on sale......they're starting to put this on sale in 2008, so even though it's a bit pricey compared to the generics, it's good value and made for our BBQ's.

I have owned a lot of BBq's & roisserie's, this is a very good quality one & is adaptalbe to almost any BBQ

Reasonably priced
I was a little confussed with the setup. I had one small attachment left over (not the smaller rod) I have no idea what it is for, but I am very happy with this product.

Function, inexpensive
This is my first Rotisserie, and I'm really enjoying it. I BBQ quite frequently as it is, and this has allowed me to try many new recipes, expanding our meal choices. It has 'fallen off' the guides a few times, so i would recommend checking up on it the first few times you use it, until you figure out its idiosyncrasies
