Weak construction
We bought this shed two years ago to hold wood beside our door. Within a month the latch on the front broke. The first winter, even though it was covered, it developed a hole in the top which renders it useless to keep dry wood. The hinges are also very weak and cannot handle regular use without bending.

Very Poor Quality
Don't waste your money. Purchased to hold my recycling containers to keep my dogs out of them. Miniature Poodles. Hinges on doors broke within weeks, lid blew off in first thunderstorm and doors cracked apart into pieces the first time my dogs scratched on them when they were frozen in the winter. Very disappointed in the lack of customer support for this product as it isn't really inexpensive either. Keter is unresponsive to issues.

Don't buy
I bought this shed, 2 years ago, and am looking to replace it. It is very weak, poor construction. My 8 year old pushed the top open too far and the hinges on the side broke. The racoons in our area, ripped the door off the hinges, and yet again emptied the contents of the shed looking for garbage. Writing this review as i'm buying something else, not this junk

Exactly what I needed
I've now had this unit for a little over a year and it seems to be holding up well. It's probably not as solid as one made out of wood but I really like the fact that plastic seems to last forever without maintenance. I've read that the locking clasp can break off if you use it to open the lid so I made sure my kids new to grab the lid to open it instead of the clasp. I store 2 garbage cans plus a full size recyling container in here and it's so much cleaner than before. Everything packs away neatly and no more problems with racoons tipping over our garbage cans. Although I would pay more for a stronger unit, I'm still very satisfied with this one.

Not Bad for Sale Price!
I purchased this "horizontal shed" (unusual description for this deck box) ?! spring of 2011. It was easy to assemble, but it is a bit flimsy ,so I screwed it down on to a piece of 3/4" plywood. This made it easier to move around on my deck. Lots of space for chair cushions, small gardening goodies even a rolled-up double hammock. Now for the bad news, the locking clasp broke off within 1st week , the hinge - lift/supports which are "mechanical" kept sticking open ,had to pry them with a screwdriver to close! every time! In the fall a "house-sitter closed the lid with brute force & bent both hinges beyond repair, but it stayed closed with no further damage in minus 50C weather winter!!! I've just ordered ( from Keter ) two new hinge lifts, they appear to be hydraulic (on website) I hope they are. We'll wait and see which ones they send. Other-wise I Like it.

Breaks Quickly
This item looks great and put together easy but within a few weeks the lock latch broke off, then the top kept opening up, weighted it down with a couple of bricks, both doors started to crack, taped them up, then they broke off at hinges.
very poor quality!

Flimsier than it looks
This shed looks pretty good and is easy to assemble, but it's far lighter and flimsier than I anticipated. The clasp holding down the lid broke during the first week, and now I have to put weights on it to keep the wind from lifting it. The material from which the shed is made is thin, and I anticipate that it will become brittle in very cold weather. I don't expect it to last the winter. It was a waste of my money. It's a shame, because it's exactly the size and shape that I needed.

very dissapointed
I bought this about a 6 weeks ago. Already both hinges have fallen off. The design is very dissapointing. I have written the company to complain and now I am waiting to see what they do about it. Not worth the money.

Doesn't last in Canadian winters
Was quite pleased at first, it looks great! But the plastic clamp to secure the doors broke after the first winter. The second winter left the top and one of the front doors with huge cracks. Still useable with duck tape to hold it together. We only used it for storage during the winter, so it was not opened / closed throughout the cold season . The plastic does not hold up. Will probably have to throw out after another winter. Would not recommend for Canadian winters, unless you are on the west coast and don't get the freezing temperatures and snow.

Worst product ever
This garbage container is the worst product ever. Screws do not hold, hinges are terrilbe, have to fully open to close?! Parts are easy to assemble and easy to break. Not worth the plastic used to make it.Do not buy this product. Had for less than 3 months and hinges are broken, latch is broke and screws are stripped on the sides.
